The front of the house; still needs a finished front deck, and some paint.

  • Staining beams, second attempt. Can't see it here, but the staining came out blotchy. Stripping beams and starting over...again.
  • The shrouded kitchen is now in place.
  • The clearstory window trim has been painted. Looks much better white than ugly brown.
  • Frequent visitors during construction. You can see the "fairy garden" behind the deer.
  • Cabinets and stove in place, and the drawers have pulls. I still need to make a template for drilling the cabinet doors.
  • More cabinets.
  • Oooh...pretty pulls and countertop.
  • Winter construction interlude. Oh wait, it's still fall...
  • At least it's pretty.
  • The pretty backyard...except for the construction fence and debris...
  • Now we have a vent on our stove! Someday it will be prettier...
